Fayez Tatanaki is the Chairman of Challenger Limited, one of North Africa’s leading drilling companies, where he previously served as CEO for 25 years and helped build the company into a regional leader with 34 years of operations and a fleet of 21 rigs. He is also the Chairman of LCC, overseeing national infrastructure projects exceeding $30 million, including major road and government construction works across Libya. In addition, he chairs Quicrete, Hype, Pile Tec, and Space Chemicals, guiding strategy, performance, and regional expansion across industrial and manufacturing sectors. Fayez also manages a substantial real estate portfolio across London, Cairo, and Libya, focused on long-term value and strategic growth.

As CEO of Amaak Global, he leads one of the region’s emerging mining and smelting companies specializing in antimony production and export. Mr. Hu has nearly 20 years of experience in the Asian metal smelting industry, building on a family legacy of more than 30 years in establishing and operating multiple smelting plants across the region. His operations generate an average of 2 billion RMB in annual metal sales, with 1.8 billion RMB in procurement volume. Renowned for his deep technical expertise, Mr. Hu has mastered a wide range of smelting processes, solved complex production challenges, and introduced several process improvements independently. He was also among the earliest in Asia to adopt recycled waste materials for industrial smelting. Over two decades, he has consistently delivered innovation, efficiency, and strong operational performance in the metal smelting sector.
